Vaccinations and worming
We will send or give you if picking up your puppy, a list of all vaccinations and wormings the puppy has received. This is a program recommended by our vet. It includes worming every 2 weeks with different types of wormers, and vaccinations for Parvo, Distemper, Parainfluenza, Adenovirus Type 2 and bordetella . The puppies will be too young to receive a rabies vaccination prior to shipping.
VERY IMPORTANT! YOUR PUPPY WILL NEED AT LEAST ONE MORE PARVO vaccination. Delaying this vaccination may make your puppy susceptible to Parvo, a disease that is deadly for puppies. This is why we request you make a vet appointment within 3 business days of receiving your puppy to either get a vaccination or schedule the next vaccination.
You will need to followup with your vet to continue vaccinations as needed for your area. Your puppy will need at least one more Parvo and Distemper shot within a few weeks, (This time schedule varies with veternarians) and then an annual vaccination.
We are fortunate to have a very experienced and well know veternarian to care for our puppies. She has been caring for small animals for over 30 years.
